KinVault AI (kinvaultai.com.ng) is operated by NextFix Technologies Limited ("we", "us"), Nigeria. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why, and what choices you have. The public archive needs no account, and we collect as little as we can.

1. Information we collect

Information collected automatically

When you visit, our servers and any analytics tools we use may record your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the date and time. We use this to keep the site secure, understand how it is used, and see which countries our readers come from.

Correction reports

If you use the "Report a correction" form, we store your message, your email address (only if you choose to give one), the entry it relates to, and your IP address. The IP address is used to prevent spam and abuse.

Email subscriptions

If you subscribe to updates, we store your email address so we can send you news about KinVault AI. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Accounts

Public browsing needs no account. Accounts are used only by our staff and editors to manage content. If we later offer accounts to the public (for example for family-tree features), this policy will be updated first.

2. Cookies

• Essential cookies. We use a small session cookie to protect our forms against misuse (for example, to verify that a correction was really submitted from our site).
• Advertising cookies. We may display ads from third-party advertising partners, such as Google AdSense. These partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
• Analytics. If we use analytics tools, they may set cookies or collect anonymous usage data.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including restricted admin access and protected forms. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

KinVault AI is a general-audience history site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Links to other sites

Entries and ads may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
